Ms Padma Rao attended Economics Category 2 IBDP Workshop that focuses on Internal and External Assessments, Teaching strategies and a brief insight into Extended Essays.
“Sound is the vocabulary of nature and how it works is the design of nature”. Keeping this in mind, we at Mainadevi Bajaj International School arranged a workshop for students in collaboration with STEAM Academy and Museum on Wheels. It was an enriching and insightful session as the Science Educator Abhishek Arekar enlightened the students with the concept of how sound helped ancestors survive & How ears collect sound waves and the brain decodes it. Children enjoyed and had a fulfilling experience.

Ms Nisha Chauhan, Head of Humanities at JBCN led us into a step-by-step process of uncovering Global Perspective with the learners from lower to higher grades. The session was very interactive, involving every teacher and developing an interest in the subject. To build a Global Perspective, one has to delve deeper into an insightful outlook by researching and involving critical thinking.
MBIS initiated the Master Class Series of Guest Lecture Talks over 3 years ago to bring in experts from different domains to share their insights and experiences on a plethora of topics.
On Monday, 13th December 2021, we invited Mr Rishi Jalan from the Big Red Group to lead a Master Class on the topic of Ideation.
Rishi, alumni from Cornell University, spoke to students of Grades 8 to 12 on the Ideation Process. The session was very interactive and using recent and relevant examples, he was able to aid students in understanding more about the Ideation process.
He touched upon aspects such as why some entrepreneurial ventures succeed and why some fail. The session ended with Rishi using the collaborative platform Miro – to help students understand the Analogist Inspiration Process.
