How to make your child Future Ready’
At MBIS we think there are certain skills that are timeless, that we can help students develop which will serve them no matter what the future will look like. We think these skills can help students become “future ready.” One of the main skills that we develop is ‘Learning to learn’ where we give students as much control of their learning as we can, be it through ‘Student Led Learning’ or the ‘Student Led Conferences’ that we have. Helping students to become adept at learning new tools, and giving students opportunities and situations where communication skills, problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and creative skills are some of the other skills that are developed. Encouraging every student to find their own way and with curricula that emphasize experiential learning, collaboration, and a focus on the learner’s own interests, needs, and motivation – is what teachers do at MBIS to make students “future ready.”
