STREAM Fest

In a rapid world that is ever dynamic, education is no exception. New ways of learning are continually being evolved as education expands beyond the normal classroom setting.

On 19th February MBIS Primary and Pre-primary teachers had conducted STREAM activities for students from Nursery to Grade 5 that encompassed science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math, where students developed new skills, such as creative and critical thinking.

Science activities like a lava lamp, walking water, magic with a balloon, salty circuit, lift the bridge and fun with dry ice, and Engineering activities like a homemade catapult, jet cart, paddle boat, building play dough structures, and robotic hand offered the students a chance to learn valuable skills and techniques The library offered fun and relaxed atmosphere, where students enjoyed the puppet show ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and also engaged themselves in reading. The pista shells, earbud painting, and Origami Paper weaving in Art and the Music and dance movement were thoroughly by all; the small and the big ones alike, wherein the students were able to experience art, creativity, and music in new ways.

As Albert Einstein said “Play is the highest form of research”… STREAM activities at MBIS just helped the students to do so.
