EFECTIVE PARENTING STYLES TO RAISE RESPONSIBLE,HAPPY LEARNERS An enriching workshop was conducted for Parents of Pre Primary to Grade 5 by Dr Yolande Pereira,the essence of which stated the following:

Monsoon Trail : Secondary

Monsoon treks help develop essential skills such as adaptability, problem-solving, and teamwork. Navigating through wet and slippery terrain encourages individuals to overcome challenges and boosts their self-confidence. These treks also contribute to local economies and raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural habitats.

NATURE TRAIL-Grades 6 to 8
In keeping with the objective of taking learning beyond the confines of the classroom, students of Grades 6–8 went on a Nature Trail. The lush green forest welcomed the students into its natural abode, as they participated in the trail with great enthusiasm.

NATURE TRAIL -PRIMARY

As our students walked carefree through the Maharashtra Nature Park, savouring the light drizzles,they were offered a haven of biodiversity and tranquillity amidst the urban hustle. The students were guided by experts who explained to them the thriving ecosystem. The story of transformation from a wasteland to a thriving habitat captivated the students.

Life skills-based education fosters and enhances the art of learning, allowing students to excel in the modern world.

MONSOON TRAIL : NURSERY

Our students all dressed in rainwear, went for a monsoon trail at our beautiful RSET campus. They all walked slowly and saw the puddles, wet rocks and leaves, Our little ones joyfully talked about how the rain feels on hand and face, and the sound rain makes when it hits hard or soft things.

MONSOON TRAIL PRE PRIMARY

The students Jr Kg as well as Sr Kg students went out on a Monsoon trail filled with fun n frolic. They explored puddles, found colourful plants and were enthralled by the beauty of Nature. They enjoyed discovering some creepers, birds, squirrels and rainy creatures like earthworms .Some of them joyfully splashed in the puddles

The Connecting Chapter – MBIS Book Club For Parents

The first session of 'The Connecting Chapter' was conducted on Saturday, 26 August 2023. Our First Book was PARENT SHIFT!!! Written by parenting educators Linda and Ty Hatfield and award-winning journalist and author Wendy Thomas Russell, this timely, compassionate guide distills a century’s worth of research, science, and wisdom into an engaging, practical handbook for modern parents.

The Investiture Ceremony of Mainadevi Bajaj International School for the academic session 2023-2024 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony teamed up with celebrating the birthday of our dear Founder Smt. Mainadeviji Bajaj. Dr. Indu Shahani, Founding President & Chancellor - ATLAS SkillTech University and ex Sheriff of Mumbai graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The first Eumind VC for the project ‘Go Green’ was held on Friday,9 December, 2022 at 01:00 pm IST.

It was a delightful experience to have interacted with our partner school Baken Park Lyceum School, Netherlands.

On Tuesday, 20 December students of Grade 12 conducted an activity based on the learning outcome 6 of the CAS program- Demonstrating Engagement with issues of global significance.

TedxYouth talk

MBIS organized a TedxYouth talk for the students of grades 9 to 12 on Monday, 5 December, 2022. Mr. Rushabh Turakhia, Philanthropist, author and life coach spoke to the students about his life changing idea of doing good. He speaks of this extensively in his book "Your Turn Now", which is also the tag line of his drive.

Tug of Words - an Interschool Debate Competition

On 9 November MBIS students participated in Tug of Words - an interschool debate competition organized by JBCN School Borivali. Our team of 4 called The Mindtroopers, displayed their sharp argumentative skills and debated with passion and conviction.

Global leadership programme

The session began with a quick preview of the recent developments in the UN, if the students were aware of the Ukraine crisis, Covid eruptions in China and the thoughts of WHO on it. Mr.Raj emphasised on how the UN is formed to tackle these very issues that can destabilize a region or affect the global demographic population instantly if not checked or tackled in the right manner.

An amazing traffic park with different signs and symbols including safety signs was created in the Senior Kg classroom for their inquiry fair, where the students explained the meaning and importance of the various signs and symbols as they took their parents along with them in the traffic park.
