Our 10th batch of IB Diploma students graduated this summer and it is indeed been an incredible journey. The IB has been a great fit for MBIS – with our small class sizes and personalized attention to each and every child, the IB Diploma program has grown from strength to strength.
Our focus on teacher professional development has ensured that teachers are regularly upskilled and that in turn leads to enriching teaching-learning in the classroom (be it physical or online)
All of this has translated into excellent results and university placements of our students.
Our current batch of students (Class of 2021) have performed exceptionally well in the recent Grade 12 board examinations.
Our school topper – Shourya Rao secured 44/45 points and in percentage terms, his score was 98%. 33% of our students have secured an overall score of 40 or more points out of a maximum of 45.
Our school average IB score this year is 37.5 points (in percentage terms our average score is 89%).
Year on Year our students have consistently secured scores above the world average and its no different for the May 2021 exam results as well. The world average overall score is 33.02.
In terms of university placements – this year we have students pursuing a myriad of majors in leading universities in Canada (University of British Columbia, Concordia University, York University, Western University), United Kingdom (University of Warwick), Australia (University of Melbourne) and India (ISDI, NMIMS) to name a few.
Our students continued success, be it in the IGCSE or IB Program highlights the fact that the five core values we have implemented at MBIS have helped in creating a culture of excellence.
I strongly believe that an educational institution is about relationships. Relationships that students share with teachers, teachers share with senior leadership team and management and the relationship between parents and teachers. This is what makes MBIS a truly one of its kind institution where relationships are valued and cherished and each stakeholder looks forward to coming to school or working for the school and all of this translates into a great learning environment.
Here’s wishing all graduates from the IB Class of 2021 the very best of luck as they begin a new journey (Chapter 2.0 in their lives).
“Go Confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined”. Good Luck and God Bless!
