Early childhood, for the most part, is an important period in a child’s development. Three and four-year-olds have their own distinctive perspectives of how the world works.
Their minds are filled with questions and it is from these questions that the whole process of inquiry begins. What they need is to have a clear understanding of our multifaceted world.
It is through exploration and discovery that children will be exposed to the numerous opportunities to learn.
We focus on the emotional and physical development using play, art, music and language. The program is designed around three core subjects namely- Literacy, Numeracy and Area of Inquiry. In literacy, they learn various language skills along with learning phonic sounds. Through the four areas of inquiry, students can grasp and simultaneously, acquire the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes appropriate to that age group.
Each area of inquiry allows for a guided inquiry into specific topics. The topics of inquiry are designed with a special emphasis on communication, thinking, self-management and social skills.
Apart from the core learning subjects, students from Junior KG onwards are exposed to various specialist subjects like Yoga, Martial Art, Physical Education, Art, Music, Speech and Drama and a course in graphic animation by Giant Wheel.
